Default Data Directory

How to find the hidden default data directory

Be default, the NIX QT, GUI and CLI wallets will use the following directories to store your configuration, wallet, and blockchain data.

Windows

1. Type %appdata% in the search bar and hit Enter.

2. Click on the nix directory.

Linux

1. The data directory is located in ~./nix .

Mac OS

1. In the Top Bar locate and click Go -> Go to Folder .

2. Paste ~/Library/Application Support/nix/ and hit Enter.
